New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted government employees on July 12 via video conferencing.

The event, part of the 16th edition of the Rozgar Mela, will commence at around 11:00 AM. During the occasion, the Prime Minister will also address the appointees virtually.

The Rozgar Mela is a significant initiative under the Centre’s ongoing mission to generate employment and empower youth through meaningful job opportunities in government services.

According to official sources, the Mela is aimed at furthering the Prime Minister’s commitment to make employment generation a top priority.

So far, more than 10 lakh appointment letters have been distributed under the Rozgar Mela campaign, which has been held at regular intervals across the country.

This 16th Rozgar Mela will be organised simultaneously at 47 different locations nationwide. Recruits selected from various regions will be joining a wide range of ministries and departments under the Central Government.

These include key bodies such as the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, and Ministry of Labour & Employment, among others.

The newly appointed personnel are expected to serve in different roles across these ministries, further strengthening public service delivery and enhancing administrative efficiency.

The Rozgar Mela is also seen as a step toward increasing the participation of youth in nation-building by integrating them into the government workforce.

The initiative has received positive responses from across the country and has been instrumental in fast-tracking recruitment processes.

It is also aligned with the broader vision of the government to create a skilled and motivated workforce that can contribute effectively to India’s developmental goals.

By conducting such large-scale recruitment drives regularly, the government aims to not only fill existing vacancies across departments but also to instil a sense of pride and responsibility among the new recruits.

The Rozgar Mela has thus emerged as a platform of opportunity and aspiration for the country’s youth.
