‘Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps,’ is the theme for 2024 to lessen the number of patients of Diabetes, a severe challenge in today’s world which has gained momentum as we celebrate, World Diabetes Day, on November 14 every year. It provides several important information for increasing awareness of diabetes that affects millions of people worldwide.

The root cause is either insufficient insulin production by the pancreas or the body’s inability to use insulin effectively. For regulating Blood Sugar level, Insulin plays a pivot role. Otherwise, Hyperglycemia, if not treated smartly, can result in Diabetic Coma.

The notion is to have collaborative organizations including governments, health organizations, and communities to fight overall. The focus is to uplift the health and lifestyle of people. By encouraging communities and individuals to take proactive steps toward a healthier future, observances, educational programs, and campaigns aim to close the treatment gap and enhance the lives of millions of people with diabetes.

In a few cases, it may also take years to notice, especially in Diabetes 2. No matter what type of diabetes, increased thirst, frequent urination, blurred vision, exhaustion, and inexplicable weight loss are typical symptoms and finally, result in destroying all vital organs resulting in kidney failures, stroke and heart attacks.

Just say full stop to your diabetes. Lifestyle changes are the key to ward off obesity, by having moderate exercise along with a balanced diet. Keeping alcohol and tobacco at bay, increasing physical activity, one can lessen the chance of it.
