Raj Kundra, had been charged earlier of money laundering investigation related to the production and distribution of pornographic content through mobile applications. Some evidence was there which justified his involvement. The Enforcement Directorate has raided 15 locations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh spots linked to his business.
The legal disputes involving Raj Kundra are not new. Shilpa Shetty’s spouse was detained in June 2021 on suspicion of making pornographic movies. After two months in jail, he was released on bail in September 2021. Kundra was the main conspirator in the case, according to Mumbai police.
When the Mumbai Police Crime Branch reopened its probe in June, it turned up links to Kundra’s company’s app, HotShots. The investigation into Kundra and his accomplices was heightened after it was discovered that the confiscated servers included obscene content.
