All ISKCON temples and communities worldwide are urged to host special prayers and kirtans in which they implore Lord Krishna to safeguard their followers and all religious minorities in Bangladesh on Sunday.

The international ISKCON Governing Body Commission Executive Committee (EC), under the Chairmanship of Guru Prasada Swami, and with the support of the global Communications Ministry, have asked to offer the following special prayer in a spirit of global harmony.

According to ISKCON Minister of Communications Anuttama Dasa, “ISKCON is a peaceful organization, and devotees in Bangladesh contribute in many ways to their country.” He stated, “Unfortunately, some people who are unfamiliar with ISKCON are misrepresenting us and our peaceful intentions.”

The Bangladeshi High Court denied a request to ban ISKCON earlier this week. “The High Court’s ruling in favor of ISKCON is greatly appreciated,” said Anuttama Dasa.
