Adieu To Acting Career, Announces Actor Vikrant Massey

In a shocking revelation, Bollywood star Vikrant Massey shocked fans by announcing on social media that he has decided to retire from acting. Days after the publication of his most recent endeavour, “The Sabarmati Report,” the 37-year-old made the announcement. At the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), he also won the Personality of the Year award.

In a letter posted on Instagram, Vikrant, who is taking a break from movies, stated that he will see his fans one final time in 2025 before leaving Mumbai. Vikrant did not mention anything else and left the rest of it for people to guess. He did not reveal whether he planned to come back to the world of films. The actor thanked everyone for their immense support and informed them about his decision, leaving all surprised.

His acting journey started with Dhoom Machao Dhoom, which was Vikrant’s first television appearance. In 2009, he became well-known because of Balika Vadhu. His debut film appearance was in A Death in the Gunj, directed by Konkona Sen Sharma. He then starred in movies such as Gaslight, Haseen Dillruba, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, and Chhapaak. His movie 12th Fail, which was a commercial and critical hit last year, became one of the most talked-about movies.
