Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has started making waves even before its theatrical release and has witnessed massive advance bookings. On the first day of bookings, it has already collected ₹30.92 crores, with nearly 7 lakh tickets sold across all languages.

Pushpa 2 might become the first Indian movie to score 100 crore gross pre-sales for the opening day as the pace so far has been phenomenal and is expected to continue or even pick up with less than 4 days left for the release. Pushpa 2 already surpassing the advance booking collection of Kalki 2898 AD, it would be interesting to see whether it would be able to surpass RRR as well.

The booking rate is increasing in almost all the languages in which it is set to be released. For instance, the Telugu version has collected ₹10.52 crores, while the Hindi version has collected ₹10.14 crores. It is also performing well in the Malayalam version; however, in the Kannada and Tamil versions, it is picking up pace slightly more slowly.

Based on this trend Pushpa 2: The Rule, made with almost double the budget of its predecessor, is expected to surpass the box office collection of ₹393.50 crore achieved by the prequel. Furthermore, it is also anticipated to secure its place among the highest-grossing films of 2024, such as Kalki 2898 AD, Stree 2, and Greatest of All Time or perhaps even surpass their collection.
