Vivek Oberoi started his career on a promising future had to go through a very dull phase in his career which led him to escalate to become a businessman to maintain financial stability.
Vivek considered acting as his passion but conferred business as his livelihood. In last 22 years he worked in 67 projects some of them including Bollywood hits like Company, Omkara, Rakta Charitra, Shootout at Lokhandwala.
He recollects how after the success of Shootout at Lokhandwala, the ‘Ganpat’ went viral. His role in this project led him to win various awards due to which he expected a lot of offers but it proved to be wrong and ended up compelling him to sit at home for 14-15 months due the monopoly of Bollywood lobbies.
It was at this time that he decided he should not rely solely on acting and began exploring other options for his livelihood. Today, he is a successful entrepreneur who has managed to keep his passion for acting alive while balancing both pursuits effectively.
