A 16 year old girl has been detained by Ukraine’s security services for allegedly passing sensitive information about Ukraine’s air defence systems in region of Russian authorities.
The 16 year old girl has been allegedly found passing down sensitive information about Unikranian Air defense location. According to the reports it is said that she gathered these information during taxi rides on the location, took photographs of the defence facilities and used online encrypted Messenger services to transmit the information to the enemy country Russia.
The girl is currently being held in custody an investigation is going on while Ukraine’s defence system is trying to break the chain of suspected collaborators with Russian forces, with thousands of investigation being still open since Feb 2022.
The case of 16 year old girl proves as stark reminder of complexity and challenges of the ongoing war raising concerns within the public and the government about the minors being brain washed and their involvement in the conflict of Russia and Ukraine.
