Today, during the winter session, INDIA bloc MPs, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, protested at Parliament wearing black, jackets with stickers reading “Modi Adani Ek Hai” and “Adani Safe Hai” on them. The demonstration was held in front of Makar Dwar’s steps in Parliament. Later, the demonstrators gathered in front of the Samvidhan Sadan, where they chanted anti-Modi and anti-Adani slogans.
He criticized the Union government and claimed that as it would be equivalent to having an inquiry conducted against him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unable to have one conducted against Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group.
“Modi ji can’t get Adani ji investigated because if he does that, he would be getting himself investigated…Modi aur Adani ek hain. Do nahi hain, ek hain,” said Rahul Gandhi. Supporting him were also members of RJD and Left who joined the protest. Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla added that the image of Adani is tarnished because of his involvement and the entire country has imposed a ban on him.
