Congress MP Manickam Tagore has written to Lok Sabha Speaker om Birla , demanding action be taken against Sambit Patra as he finds his statement about Rahul Gandhi slanderous. He claims that Patra’ statements are a clearr violation of parliamentary decorum and ethics.
BJP MP Sambit Patra has recently made some serious allegations against Rahul Gandhi, citing him as a “traitor of the highest order. He claims that Rahul Gandhi is a part of a dangerous plan conspired with billionaire George Soros and the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), aimed at destabilising India. Further in his statement, he claimed that Rahul Gandhi is using reports from OCCRP, which is funded by Soros and US agencies, to criticise the Indian government.
The Congress and the AAP have given notice in parliament to discuss this matter, with Tagore also announcing his intentions to move on towards an adjournment motion in Lok Sabha.
