The US has raised its concern about ongoing chaos in Bangladesh over the persecution of Hindus and other minorities. Margaret MacLeod, the Hindi and Urdu spokesperson for the US State Department said that they are closely monitoring the situation and hope every individual in the region can live according to their faith and beliefs.
She further said, “The US continues to discuss these concerns with its partner”. Chaos emerged when temples were vandalized and finally arrest of Chinmoy Das added fuel to the power. Atrocities grew all over Bangladesh on Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus’s remarks on minorities.
