The Thailand Embassy in India has announced the implementation of Thailand’s Electronic Visa System (e-visa) for Indian passport holders from January 1, 2025.
The visa can be applied through an offline payment method which will be non-refundable under all circumstances. It will take 14 days to process the visa from when the receipt of visa fees is issued.
For the regular visa, ordinary passport applications should be submitted by December 16 and the diplomatic and official passport applications should be submitted by December 24.
Moreover, the 60-day visa exemption for tourism and short business purposes for Indian passport holders would remain effective until further announcement.
