Indigo Delhi Jeddah flight (6E 63) en route from New Delhi to Jeddah made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport due to a medical emergency.
The flight took off from Delhi at 9:15 pm on Friday and landed in Karachi at 11 pm. Three hours later the flight took off from Karachi airport at 1:55 am on Saturday and returned to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 3:54 am.
The flight had to make an emergency landing due to the deteriorating health of one of its passengers. The flight was allowed to land in Karachi on humanitarian grounds.
The passenger was provided medical assistance by a medical team from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. The flight then headed back to Delhi.
