Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), made a mocking remark on Saturday over the Mahayuti government’s choice to hold the cabinet expansion in Nagpur rather than Mumbai, stating that they “should build an EVM temple in front of RSS headquarters.”
He came up with this statement on being asked why the cabinet expansion was being done in the orange city instead of Mumbai. “It has been a month since the new government formed in this state, but it is not known who has which department,” Raut remarked, criticizing the delay in government formation despite holding a majority.
“Maharashtra has descended into chaos, with the current government seemingly formed through the sole reliance on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), implying a lack of intellectual autonomy, as if the EVMs dictate their every move,” said Raut.
Every day, rapes and murders occur in every Maharashtra hamlet, and the Chief Minister is powerless to address this.
