After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that Trisha Krishnan would act in RJ Balaji’s forthcoming film alongside Suriya. The filmmaker made the remark while honoring Trisha on 22 years in the film profession.
Images of Trisha and Suriya together, presumably on the set of their upcoming movie, went viral online few days ago. After twenty years apart, fans were ecstatic to see the pair performing reunited. Balaji wrote on X (previously Twitter) to congratulate Trisha on reaching the milestone of 22 years in the film industry: “Congratulations on 22 glorious years, Trisha with Suriya we are thrilled to begin the 23rd year.
Dream Warrior Pictures, the production company, also released a video showing Suriya and Balaji cutting a cake on the sets to commemorate Trisha’s milestone. Trisha is heard in the video stating that it has come to “one full circle” and that it is “honor” to collaborate with him once more.
Although Trisha’s role in the movie has not yet been revealed, leaked images from the set suggest she and Suriya play attorneys.
