In a significant move to strengthen bilateral ties PM Narendra Modi on two day visit to Kuwait on December 21 -22, 2024 on the invitation of his highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of State of Kuwait. It will be India Prime Minister’s first visit to Kuwait in 43 years.
During his visit Prime Minister Modi will engage in several discussions with the leadership of Kuwait, focusing on strengthening the multifaceted ties between two nations. He will also visit the Indian community in Kuwait which is the largest expatriate community in Kuwait.
India and Kuwait have always enjoyed friendly relations with strong economic and cultural ties rooted in history and backed by strong economic and people to people linkages. India is among Kuwait’s top trading partners and the Indian community play a important role in Kuwait’s economy.
The visit is expected to strengthen India and Kuwait ties and explore new areas of cooperation between them.
