Jaya Bachchan, a member of the Samajwadi Party, accused BJP lawmakers on Friday of fabricating injuries from a recent altercation in Parliament, claiming that their performances were “staged” and that they should be recognized for their acting.
Jaya mocked the BJP’s accusations, saying, “Sarangi ji is staging a drama.” Sarangi ji is putting up a show. When he was in Odisha, what exactly did he do? “Sarangi ji, Rajput ji, and the woman from Nagaland have given better performances than I have ever given in my acting career,” she continued. For their acting, they are deserving of the Oscars and every other honor. Like other movies, this one was written.
She stated that she was moving toward the House, but these (NDA) politicians stopped our path at the steps, Bachchan said. It’s normal for someone to fall under such circumstances if they receive a small shove.
Jaya further charged that the BJP was fast to make unfounded accusations. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, was accused by the BJP of “deliberately pushing” the BJP MPs, causing injuries as a result.
