National General Secretary of BJP, Tarun Chugh responded to Digvijaya’s comment on PM Modi’s Kuwait two-day visit, calling it ‘anti-national’, “When the leaders are marketing India on foreign land and growing its influence at such a time, Digvijaya Singh remembers Godhara incident which he called it a cheap thing’ to issue a statement that defames the country just to please their leaders”, he told.

Chugh accused Congress leaders of engaging in “petty politics” when our Prime Minister works to promote glory and enhance India’s global image by visiting foreign countries. He further said that it is unfortunate, that Rahul Gandhi’s mentor Digvijaya Singh statement is highly deplorable. This was the BJP’s response to Singh’s post on X, where he criticized PM Modi claiming that the Prime Minister spread the message of Brotherhood and harmony on the Global front while on the contrary, he spread hatred in the name of Hindutva.

In his post, Singh wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, I heard your speech in Kuwait and appreciated it. He said he had been your biggest critic since the Godhra incident. It has become difficult to control the hatred that you spread between Hindus and Minorities in this country. It is an easygoing thing to take out the “genie of hatred” from the bottle but not that easy to put it back.”

He further added, that you and RSS always promote the message of making India a “Vishwabandhu”, world brother to make it “Vishwaguru”, world leader, even our foreign minister is also promoting the same message throughout the world. He further raised the question, demanding the speech be given in India instead of abroad.
