Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday emphasized the ‘crucial role’ of today’s youth in the nation’s progress while addressing the first Veer Bal Diwas event. He reinforced the value of preparing the youth with different skills in the emerging fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and machine learning.
He pointed out that in today’s generation, youth should not limit themselves to textbook knowledge. He updated about the installation of over 10,000 Atal tinkering labs to support children and inspire them to innovate. He mentioned the ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ campaign which is focused on providing young people with opportunities in various fields.
He highlighted the changing arena of the present world from machines to machine learning, with AI being at its center. Therefore he believed that this is the right time to make the children future ready to navigate these changes.
