A tragic incident occurred at a chemical plant in Dahej, Bharuch district, Gujarat, resulting in the loss of four lives. The incident happened around 10 pm on Saturday at the CMS plant of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL), when workers inhaled fumes leaking from a pipe on the ground floor.
The workers fainted due to gas leakage from the pipes. They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Bharuch, where they later died. Police Inspector BM Patidar confirmed that three workers died around 3 am on Sunday, and the fourth died at 6 am.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, and investigations are ongoing. The incident has raised concerns among citizens about workplace security.
