The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday counter attacked PM Narendra Modi’s ‘AAPada remark ahead of the Delhi assembly elections. “Such assertions do not suit a PM. In the past 10 years, the central government has had half of Delhi, and we have the other half. We have worked to improve the sewage system, water supply, and electricity,” Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj made a statement.

He said, “I want to ask what the central government did for Delhi. Businessmen are getting extortion calls, and people are being murdered in broad daylight. The situation is the worst in Delhi now, and the BJP-led central government is responsible for this.”

Bharadwaj also mocked and said, “I feel like laughing when the PM talks about the education system in Delhi. Today, many big personalities from across the world come to Delhi to see the schools here. I would also invite PM Modi to come and see the govt schools and decide if work has been done or not. It is unfortunate that he is saying this from a big stage.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi mocked AAP, calling it an ‘aapda’ (disaster) for Delhi. During a speech after launching multiple infrastructure projects in the national capital, including in housing and education sectors.

PM Modi slammed the AAP-led Delhi government and said the situation in the national capital would worsen if their rule continued. He also said, “On the one hand, the Centre is making a lot of efforts; on the other, the Union Territory government stands for brazen lies.”

He alleged the AAP government of committing corruption in several sectors, ranging from school education to fighting pollution and the liquor scam. With assembly elections set to be held next month, the prime minister said Delhi had initiated a war on this “AAPada (disaster)” and decided to get rid of it.

Giving a shout out for AAP’s setback, Modi raised the slogan, “‘AAPada’ ko nahi sahenge, badal kar rahenge.” He reaffirmed that Delhi will not tolerate ‘AAPada’ and will remove it.”
