‘Pushpa 2’ actor Allu Arjun has been granted regular bail on Friday over the theatre stampede case of December 4. The actor was arrested on December 13 and was granted an interim bail on the same day resulting in his release the next day.
Following the arguments from the actor’s lawyers and the police, the order was reserved for today by the Additional II Metropolitan Sessions Judge. His advocate, Ashok Reddy informed that the actor has been directed by the court to furnish two sureties executing bond of Rs 50,000 each.
The incident happened on December 4 when the actor went to Sandhya Theatres, Hyderabad for his film premiere of Puspha 2. The surprised arrival led to a stampede leading to the death of a woman and serious injuries to her son.
