Today’s Children Will Shape The India Tomorrow: Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, said in a post on X, “The children of today will shape the India of tomorrow!” On Thursday.

Yesterday she attended an event on Student’s Week at Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium, where she disbursed benefits of various government schemes and inaugurated Dhanuka Dhunseri Table Tennis Academy and awarded letters of appointment to winners of the Santosh Trophy.

She said in her post, “Yesterday, I participated in the concluding ceremony of Students’ Week at Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium, where I distributed the benefits of various government schemes and inaugurated the state-of-the-art Dhanuka Dhunseri Table Tennis Academy. I firmly believes it will become a centre of excellence.”

She further wrote, “Since assuming power, our Maa, Mati, Manush Sarkaar has introduced a plethora of student-centric initiatives such as Kanyashree, Aikyashree, Shikshashree, Medhashree, the Student Credit Card, and the Vivekanand Merit-cum-Means Scholarship. These schemes have been designed to support students from all backgrounds, irrespective of age, class, caste, or financial status.”

She concluded her post on a note showcasing the West Bengal government’s commitment to providing several such possibilities in the future for the development of the state.

She wrote, “We remain committed to fulfilling our moral duty of ensuring their holistic development and creating an environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.”

She further informed in her post that she was joined by several ministers, Firhad Hakim, Bratya Basu, Aroop Biswas, Babul Supriyo, Birbaha Hansda, Indranil Sen, and Satyajit Barman.

MLAs Soham Chakraborty and Sayantika Banerjee were also present. MPs Deepak Adhikari (Dev), Rachna Banerjee, June Maliah, and Saayoni Ghosh; C.K. Dhanuka of the Dhunseri Group of Industries; Table Tennis National Champion Poulomi Ghatak; and the West Bengal Football Team players, along with their coach, Sanjoy Sen, were present at the event.
