Aero India 2025: Rajnath Singh To Chair Ambassadors’ Round-Table In New Delhi On Jan 10

Over 150 Ambassadors and High Commissioners from friendly countries have been invited to attend the Ambassadors' Round-Table, where they will receive briefings on Aero India 2025's key events.

Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will chair the Ambassadors’ Round-Table in New Delhi on January 10, 2025 as a prologue to Aero India 2025. The event would also be attended by Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth and senior officials from the Ministry of Defence & Armed Forces along with Ambassadors and High Commissioners representing their countries.

Ambassadors and High Commissioners from over 150 friendly countries have been invited to participate in the event where they will be briefed on the major events of Aero India 2025. Rajnath Singh would also be personally inviting the senior most leadership of these countries.

Aero India is India’s premier aerospace and defence exhibition where global aero vendors and the Indian Air Force (IAF) thrill the spectators with back-to-back aerobatic flying displays. Its first edition was held in 1996 and this year marks its fifteenth edition.

Aero India 2025, Asia’s biggest aero show will be a five-day event held at the Air Force Station, Yelahanka in Bengaluru, Karnataka from February 10 to 14, 2025. The theme of the event is ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities’.

The event will include a curtain raiser event, inaugural event, Defence Ministers’ Conclave, CEOs’ Round-Table, iDEX start-up event, breath-taking air shows, a large exhibition area comprising India Pavilion and a trade fair of aerospace companies.

Aero India is a biennial event providing a stage for industry leaders to connect and shape the future of aerospace & defence industries. It appeals to a large number of exhibitors from the world’s leading aerospace and defence industries and provides them the opportunity to exhibit their capabilities, products and services to the targeted audience. It enables partnerships between foreign & Indian firms.

The first three days of the event , February 10-12, wil be business days while February 13 &14 will be public days allowing the general crowd to witness the show. The event facilitates the exploration of new opportunities within the global value chain, aiming to accelerate the indigenisation process.
