A hammer attack at Tokyo’s Hosei University’s Tama Campus wounded eight people on Friday. A woman in her 20s was detained at the scene.
The attack took place at the university’s campus in Tokyo’s Machida district. Police reported that all the wounded individuals are conscious.Jiji Press validated the custody of a woman in her 20s.
It has been reported the attacker appeared to be a student in her 20s and was halted by university staff. Tokyo police have not provided any further information.
