A new Wildfire broke out in Southern California’s Ventura County on Monday night, forcing mandatory evacuations as firefighters continues to battle multiple blazes across the region.

The auto fire which broke out on Monday has burned around 56 acres, with 75 firefighters on the scene. This latest blaze adds to the string of devastating fires that have been erupting in Southern California over the past weeks ravaging through los Angeles resulting in death of 21 people and evacuation of thousands other people.

The los Angeles police department head has confirmed 16 deaths from the Eaton and five from the Palisades fire. Firefighters are struggling to contain the Palisades and Eaton fire, which remains highly unmanageable. The Hurst fire north of los Angeles is 97% contained according to Cal fire.

The nature too is not cooperating with the firefighters, the national weather service has forecasted high winds of upto 70 miles per hour in los Angeles and Ventura countries through Wednesday, posing s significant threat to the efforts of firefighters made till now. “The environment is expected to remain extremely dangerous, with rapid fire growth possible if new fires break out,” the national weather service warned.

As the situation continues to unfold, authorities have requested residents to remain vigilant and follow evacuation orders to ensure their safety.
