Pakistan is said to have threatened the lives of four Bollywood celebrities, comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra. An FIR has been filed in Mumbai, and the police are currently looking into the situation.

The email carrying the death threat states, “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.” The email has been signed off by the sender under the name ‘BISHNU.’

A man identifying himself as Bishnu threatened to kill Kapil Sharma and his staff on December 14, 2024, by sending Rajpal Yadav an email with the ID Don. This was because Salman Khan was sponsoring his show.

The email was sent on December 14, 2024, from don99284@gmail.com to rajpalyadav@gmail.com, which is the email address of Rajpal Yadav’s team. It threatened serious personal and professional repercussions if ignored and demanded a response within eight hours.

Radha, Rajpal Yadav’s wife, was alarmed by the threat and promptly lodged a police complaint at the Amboli Police Station. This resulted in the filing of a formal charge under Section 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

A case has been filed under section 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita at Mumbai’s Amboli police station which addresses the danger of harm. Kapil Sharma and his group will have security.

After linking the IP address to Pakistan, the Amboli police are requesting assistance from the government in order to communicate with Pakistan. The recipient has been given eight hours to respond, failing which they risk both personal and professional consequences.
