Elon Musk, the social networking platform X’s owner and CEO of Tesla, spoke out about the current issue over claims that he gave a “Nazi salute” during an event. Musk expressed his annoyance with the platform’s algorithm on X on Friday, writing “If I see one more damn Nazi salute in my feed, I’m gonna lose my mind. This algorithm sucks!!”

When Musk lifted his right arm in front of a group of people on January 20 who supported former US President Donald Trump, the commotion started. His gesture was widely criticized online for being similar to the notorious Nazi salute. Social media discussions were sparked by Musk’s activities, as critics charged him of supporting radical ideas.

Musk posted in response to the criticism, denying the accusations. He urged his detractors to come up with “better dirty tricks” to harm him.

Musk further escalated the controversy by claiming that Wikipedia was promoting discrimination by calling his hand motion a “Nazi” or “fascist” salute. “Since Wikipedia views legacy media propaganda as a ‘valid’ source, it inevitably just becomes an extension of legacy media propaganda,” he wrote in a post on X. He urged his supporters to defund Wikipedia until balance is restored

In response to Musk’s remarks, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales said that he believes Elon is not happy that Wikipedia is not for sale. He said that he hopes that many individuals who care about the truth will donate to his campaign to defund us. Elon would encourage sensible, caring, and intelligent people with whom he agrees to participate if he wanted to help.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly supported Musk during the reaction, defending him. “Elon is a great friend of Israel,” Netanyahu wrote on X. He has firmly and consistently defended Israel’s right to self-defense against genocidal terrorists and governments that aim to destroy the one and only Jewish state.

Reports state that Musk made the contentious gesture while telling the crowd that this was no ordinary victory. This represented an obstacle in the path of human civilization.

This was a crucial one. Musk allegedly made a move that his critics said resembled a Nazi salute at the conclusion of his speech: he put his right hand on his chest, extended his fingers wide, and raised his arm at an upward angle.
