Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the Election Commission on its foundation day for its exemplary efforts in empowering people to exercise their voting rights. He remarked the importance of vote in Democracy on “National Voters’ today, emphasising on the power of people.
In a post on social media, Shri Modi said “National Voters’ Day is about celebrating our vibrant democracy and empowering every citizen to exercise their right to vote. It highlights the importance of participation in shaping the nation’s future. We laud the ECI for their exemplary efforts in this regard.
PM Modi stated that they are grateful to the Election Commission for periodically updating and fortifying their voting procedure. The Commission has used technology to give individuals more power. He applauded the Election Commission’s dedication to holding free and fair elections.
In order to strengthen democracy, he implored the populace to consistently utilize their right to vote in big numbers and participate in it.
Modi included a video of his recent “Mann Ki Baat” speech, in which he lavished praise on the poll watchdog which has recently been the target of opposition criticism with his post.
The Prime Minister praised the Election Commission in his speech for modernizing the voting process and leveraging technology to increase the power of the people.
The 75th anniversary of the Indian Republic makes this year’s Republic Day more noteworthy. The Constitution has been in effect for 75 years this year as well. The prime minister continued, “I honor all the outstanding members of the Constituent Assembly who provided us with our priceless Constitution.
“Babasaheb emphasized that the Constituent Assembly should remain united and work together for the welfare of all,” he stated, highlighting specifics from the videos. Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee talked on the significance of equal opportunity, while Dr. Rajendra Prasad spoke about the dedication to human values.
