Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently made headlines after revealing a minor yet surprising on-set injury during a candid interview with a popular Indian entertainment channel. While filming an intense action sequence for her upcoming Bollywood return film,“Viraasat: The Legacy”, Priyanka shared that she accidentally lost part of her eyebrow in the process.
“I was doing this stunt scene where I had to dive through a collapsing structure,” Chopra explained with a laugh. “It was all going great until a tiny fragment from a prop hit me right above my eye. Nothing serious, thankfully — but yeah, I ended up losing a bit of my right eyebrow!”
The actress, who has built a global career across Bollywood and Hollywood, took the incident in stride, even joking that her makeup team now has a “mini paintbrush” specifically for eyebrow touch-ups.
Fans on social media were quick to show concern and admiration, praising Priyanka for continuing the shoot despite the injury.
The injury has not slowed her down. “Viraasat: The Legacy”, which marks her comeback to Indian cinema after nearly four years, is set for a Diwali 2025 release. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, the movie is said to be a high-octane family drama with strong emotional undertones and elaborate action sequences.
When asked if the accident has made her wary of performing her own stunts, Priyanka replied, “Not at all! I’ve always loved doing my own action scenes. Accidents happen — but it’s all part of the job. And now I’ve got a good story to tell!”
Chopra’s fans are now eagerly awaiting the film, especially after behind-the-scenes clips from the shoot started circulating online, showing her in full action mode. The actress, known for her resilience and charisma, continues to inspire both young actors and her global fanbase.
As always, Priyanka proves that nothing — not even a rogue eyebrow — can slow her down.
