As the Bharatiya Janata Party stages a remarkable comeback in Delhi after over 26 years, BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah attribute the victory to the people’s trust in PM Modi’s credibility and BJP’s good governance.
The latest Election Commission trends indicate the saffron party leading in 48 out of 70 assembly seats, while AAP trails with 22. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh associates the massive victory by the BJP in the Delhi elections to people’s unshakable trust in PM Modi’s credibility and BJP’s policies of good governance and development.
He wrote on X, “BJP’s landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections is a victory of faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the policies of BJP.” “I heartily congratulate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Party President Shri JP Nadda, Delhi State BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva and all the party workers for this magnificent victory,” he added.
Extending his gratitude to the people, Singh says, “After almost 27 years, the people of Delhi have given their trust and blessings to the BJP. For this, I express my gratitude to the people of Delhi.”
He emphasizes the importance of Delhi’s development to fulfill the resolution of developed India. He is confident that this victory will provide new momentum to Delhi’s development under the double-engine government.
Home Minister Amit Shah taking a jibe at AAP stated that the people of Delhi have destroyed the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ of lies, deception, and corruption and made Delhi AAP-Da free.
He asserted that AAP’s defeat serves as a lesson to all who either break their promises or make false ones. He emphasized that this marks a “new era of development and trust in Delhi.” He stated on X, “The rule of lies has ended in Delhi… This is the defeat of arrogance and anarchy.”
“Delhiites have shown that the public cannot be mislead by repeated false promises. The public has responded to the dirty Yamuna, dirty drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers and liquor shops open in every street with their votes,” he reiterates.
Felicitating the party members, Shah, “I heartily congratulate all the workers of BJP who worked day and night for this grand victory in Delhi, BJP National President Mr. JP Nadda ji and State President Mr. Virend Sachdeva ji.”
Attributing the victory to PM Modi’s vision of development, Shah proclaims that BJP is determined to fulfill all its promises and make Delhi the number one capital of the world.
“Be it the respect for women, the self-respect of unauthorized colony residents or the immense possibilities of self-employment, Delhi will now become an ideal capital under the leadership of Modiji,” he added.
