Union Minister Amit Shah busted Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal for predicting that the former MP Ramesh Bidhuri will be the face of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the chief ministerial election in Delhi.
Shah questioned Kejriwal’s right to declare the BJP’s CM pick ahead of the assembly election, saying, “Can Arvind Kejriwal declare the CM face of the BJP?” He further accused the AAP and Congress of making hollow promises to woo voters while asserting that only the BJP can truly deliver on its commitment to the people of Delhi.
Amit Shah assured that his party’s government in Delhi will not only continue but also expand welfare schemes for the poor. He also promised that the BJP manifesto for Delhi polls would address the concerns of the city’s residents and deliver on its promises unlike the AAP.
Meanwhile, Kejriwal has challenged Bidhuri for a public debate, claiming that he will be the BJP’s candidate for the Delhi Assembly elections, which are scheduled to take place on February 5, with the results being declared on February 8th.
The BJP has been working hard to strengthen its campaign in the national capital, with the top five leaders, including Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, set to address rallies in New Delhi.
