Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ starrer Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj Kapadia playing opposite Rupali Ganguly aka Anupamaa breaks the silence behind his absence in the show and confirms his exit from there. His exit speculated rumours of rift between him and Rupali since many of his co-stars has also left the show and has alleged that Rupali did not let their characters grow.
Gaurav in this regard has nullified these speculations. He clarified that he shares a cordial relation with everyone in terms of profession. He says that this is a mutual decision taken along with producer Rajan Shahi since his grand re-entry on the show after a 15 years leap is not being able to materialise. Therefore, both of them believe that his exit can enable him to explore his skills as an actor.
He also mentions that originally his role on the show was a three month cameo but it lasted for over three years. He is overwhelmed with the love and support he got on the show and is left with no words to thank his fans.
The show Anupamaa has taken a 15 years leap which has seen the exit of stars like Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Nidhi Shah and entry of Alisha Parveen, Shivam Khajuria, Manish Nagdev, Milloni Kapadia, Tanvi Hegde.
