Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor recently used social media to alert his followers to an internet fraud in which a fraudster was posing as his manager.
Kapoor issued a post on Instagram, cautioning followers about a fake account reaching out to them, offering to give possibilities to connect with him. The fraudster had been targeting unwary fans, using the actor’s name to gain credibility and lure people into revealing personal information or clicking on dangerous links.
Arjun shared a post that read, “It’s come to my attention that a random account is reaching out to people claiming to be my manager and offering opportunities to connect with me. Please know that these messages are not legitimate, and I have no association with them. I would never allow anyone to click on links or provide sensitive details Through such means. Please don’t fall for these scams stay safe and alert. If you encounter these notifications, Please report the account right away. Have a merry and safe Christmas.”
The actor from Gunday, meanwhile, sent his best wishes to the Baby John team yesterday. Arjun posted the poster for the Varun Dhawan film on his Instagram stories, writing, “Wishing the entire team massive success!!! Are you going to reflect on the year or deflect from reflection? Dhawan released heart emojis as the reaction.”
