A Bangladeshi group called The muslims consumer rights council has sparked controversy as they demanded boycott of restaurants which don’t serve beef. The council stated that since most Bangladesh like beef restaurant must have been dishes in their menus.
The rally leader Muhammad Arif al Khabir said that eating beef is an important part of being Muslim. He also criticised western countries for not providing halal food options.
The group threatened that the restaurant not serving beef will labelled as treasoners and supporters of India and will face nationwide ban .
The US and japan both reviewed the issues. With us calling for peaceful resolution and Japan supporting the Bangladeshi.
The workers of restaurants are worried for the future if their business. Government has not responded to rallies plea yet .
