Rahul Gandhi has accused the BJP and RSS of having an “anti-Constitution and anti-Ambedkar” mindset. This statement comes amid a heated debate over Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks on B.R. Ambedkar. Gandhi alleged that the BJP is attempting to distract attention from the Adani case in the US and the Ambedkar row.
The Congress leader’s comments were made during a press conference, where he addressed the recent scuffle between BJP and Congress MPs in Parliament. Gandhi claimed that BJP MPs, armed with sticks, blocked his path and threatened him, leading to the altercation.
The BJP has retaliated by filing a complaint against Gandhi, accusing him of “attempt to murder” and assault on its MPs. The Congress, in turn, has filed a complaint against the BJP, alleging “hooliganism” and misbehavior by its MPs.
Gandhi emphasized that the main issue is the BJP’s attempt to erase the controversy surrounding Adani’s case in the US and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s alleged links to Adani.
