Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, has introduced a new 10-minute delivery service for Gurgaon locals. In an emergency, Blinkit customers can now request ambulance services to be sent to their home in as little as ten minutes.

“We are taking our first step towards solving the problem of providing quick and reliable ambulance service in our cities. The first five ambulances will be on the road in Gurugram starting today. As we expand the service to more areas, you will start seeing an option to book a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance through the Blinkit app,” the CEO said.

According to the CEO of Blinkit, who announced the unique emergency transport service, all ambulances would be outfitted with life-saving supplies like oxygen cylinders, defibrillators, stretchers, monitors, and necessary emergency medications and injections.

Aside from the driver, each ambulance will also contain a paramedic with training and an aide. Dhindsa said that “profit is not a goal” for the recently launched service, although he did not disclose the program’s price.

This week marks the debut of Blinkit’s second new service. Albinder Dhindsa, the CEO, has previously declared a sizable order fleet. “All of these electric cars are built to manage big orders for parties or electronics. I currently reside in Gurugram and Delhi. He posted images of the cars along with the caption, “We’ll be launching this in other cities very soon.”
