Starring Suriya in dual roles, the much awaited Tamil epic fantasy action movie Kanguva, which was co-produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, debuted in theaters. The film was released in standard, 3D, and IMAX formats. It also starred Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Sarala, and K. S. Ravikumar.
The film was set to release in 2019 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and few conflicts, the production was halted in August, 2022. It took 17 months and finally it was wrapped up in January 2024. With good actors and best budget, the film was highly anticipated, promising an extraordinary cinematic experience, boosting one of the best movie 0f 2024.

Just having good actors in the movie is not enough when the script is not powerful enough to knit the audience.
