On Wednesday, the BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra attacked congress, alleged the connection between U.S.-based billionaire George Soros and Gandhi family and the Sonia Gandhi’s role as co-president of the Forum of Democratic Leaders-Asia Pacific (FDL-AP).
He claimed that Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and the entire Gandhi-Nehru family are involved in the conspiracy to destabilize the country by taking money from Soros Foundation. Patra also said that they have already exposed the FDL-AP Foundation’s connection to Sonia Gandhi, and the fact is that they received funding from George Soros. Patra said that the Soros Foundation is completely anti-India, and aimed to separate Kashmir from India.
“This raises questions about the extent to which the Nehru-Gandhi family may have compromised India’s strategic interests, over the decades, to benefit their extended family’s financial and entrepreneurial pursuits, as well as the interests of the deep state, they have been aligned with,” the BJP charged.
He also alleged that when this issue was raised in and outside the parliament the Congress and some of its allies made an attempt by bringing this no conference motion in order to distance themselves from this issue and to divert the attention of the people.
