The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its fourth and final list of 38 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections today. Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the party, will contest from the New Delhi constituency against Sandeep Dikshit, the son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Delhi chief minister Atishi will contest from Kalkaji, and other well-known contenders are Imran Hussain from Ballimaran, Raghuvinder Shokeen from Nangloi Jat, Som Dutt from Sadar Bazar, Mukesh Kumar Ahlawat from Sultan Pur Majra, and Satyendra Kumar Jain from Shakur Basti.

While revealing the list of parties, Kejriwal made fun of the BJP, saying that the saffron party lacked a Chief Minister. “BJP is missing. They have no CM face, no team, no planning and no vision for Delhi. They have only one slogan, only one policy and only one mission – ‘Remove Kejriwal,” he said in his post.

After winning 62 out of 70 seats in the 2020 election, the party hopes to cling onto its support base. Despite both parties being a member of the INDIA bloc, Kejriwal has always denied any collaboration with Congress. He said, “Aam Aadmi Party will fight this election on its own strength in Delhi.”
