The AAP has announced a new scheme ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ that promises free treatment to senior citizens above age of 60 at all government and private hospitals in Delhi.
The announcement was made by former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, and he said ‘its is now our duty to take care of you . You people have worked hard to take the country forward. He also mentioned that the scheme will be implemented once AAP party regains power in Delhi.
AAM party has released the list of 70 candidates participating in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections in February 2025. Kejriwal will contest from his New Delhi seat while Atishi will fight from her kalkaji constituency.
According to Kejriwal there will be no upper limit on the cost of treatment under the ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’. Within two days the registrations will take place for the scheme ,AAP workers will visit homes to register eligible citizens and provide them with a card which is to come under use once the AAP regains it’s foot in Delhi.
In the meantime election commission of India is holding a preparatory meeting for the Delhi elections. The poll dates expected soon to be announced.
The move of AAP party amid the Delhi assembly elections is seen as a significant step towards winning the vote of people.
