Nineteen people were hurt when a Delta Airlines plane flipped and crashed during the landing at Pearson Airport in Toronto, Canada. Three of the injured—including a child—were in critical condition. At the time of the disaster, there were up to 80 passengers on the aircraft.

In the meantime, terrifying footage of the occurrence has emerged, attracting a lot of attention and being widely circulated. One of the surveillance camera footage shows the plane landing and skidding down the runway, leaving a cloud of smoke in its wake.

The passengers in the plane were seen hurrying out of the upside-down aircraft in another alleged video. Additionally, the cabin crew was observed helping the passengers exit the aircraft.

In order to prevent more damage and injury to the passengers during the rescue operation, the rescue crew was also seen in another video dousing the smoke emanating from the Delta Airlines aircraft.

The tragic incident occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m., and flights at the airport—which has the highest passenger volume in Canada—were suspended for approximately two and a half hours.

As emergency personnel spray it down, footage at the scene reveals the Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR upside down on the snowy pavement. Snow from a winter storm that struck Toronto over the weekend partially covered the plane.
