Donald Trump Calls For Deporting All Illegal Immigrants

US President-elect Donald Trump seems to be all ready with his plans to govern the US for his upcoming tenure. For the first time after winning the elections, Trump has strongly put his stance on various topics including foreign policy, immigration, and tax reforms.

Discussing illegal immigration Trump has clarified that his government will be working on sending back the illegal migrants in his four-year term. He stated that those who have got citizenship of the US but their family member are still counted as illegal immigrants would also be sent back since he does not want to break anyone’s family.

With regards to birthright citizenship, according to the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, Trump mentioned that his government will be working on eliminating it hence leading to taking away the rights of those who are born from illegal migrants.

Trump says his government will be working on saving the rights of ‘dreamers’ who are the children who have been illegally brought to the US when they were children.

He proposed to pardon the January 6 defendants since they have already faced harsh treatment.

Trump clarified his stance to increase tax cuts from his first term. However, he emphasized that this does not mean the age for social security and Medicare benefits would be raised. Moreover, the federal minimum wage currently set at $7.25 per hour might be increased.

Further, clarifying his stance on abortion pills Trump made it clear that no restrictions would be put on its sale.

Focusing on his foreign policy, Trump expressed uncertainty about remaining a part of NATO if its members do not pay their dues. He also hinted at reducing military aid to Ukraine, emphasizing his desire to end the war.

This time, Trump adopted a different stance from his 2017 inaugural speech about ‘American Carnage,’ assuring that he would focus on unifying and bringing the nation together.
