New Delhi, July 8, 2025:
The University of Delhi has officially commenced the registration process for Phase 2 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates can now log in to the official DU admission portal — admission.uod.ac.in — and complete their application process by July 14, 2025.
This crucial second phase of the UG admission process allows applicants who have already completed CSAS Phase 1 to select their preferred course and college combinations. This selection is based on the candidates’ eligibility and program-specific criteria, as outlined by the university. All preferences submitted will be auto-locked on July 14, marking the final deadline for choice submissions.
Candidates are also being given a one-time correction window, which is open until July 11, 2025. During this period, applicants can review and correct any discrepancies or errors in their submitted forms. However, DU has clarified that this facility can only be used once; hence, candidates must ensure all changes are finalized in a single attempt. Post-submission, the forms will not be reopened under any circumstances.
After the closure of the registration and correction window, simulated ranks will be released on July 15, 2025. This will help students get a clearer picture of their possible seat allocation based on current choices and merit. To facilitate better decision-making, the preference change window will also be opened from July 15 to July 16, 2025, giving candidates a final opportunity to revise their college and program preferences.
The first allocation list will be published on July 19, 2025, following which the admission process for selected candidates will begin. Those who secure seats in the first round will be required to accept their allotted seats and proceed with document verification and fee payment as per the schedule announced by DU.
