Congress leader Digvijaya Singh took the jibe at Prime Minister Modi’s speech in Kuwait, blaming him for dispersing hatred between Hindus and minorities in India for obtaining political gains asserting it, Digvijaya Singh using social media platform X, wrote “It is easy to commute the genie of hatred, but difficult to put it back in.”
Digvijaya further wrote, “PM Modi’s message to the world is promoting “world brotherhood”, though in his own country, gave hostile speeches fuelling division among communities through “Hindutva”. In his post, he wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, I heard your speech in Kuwait and appreciated it. He said he had been your biggest critic since the Godhra incident. It has become difficult to control the hatred that you spread between Hindus and Minorities in this country. It is an easygoing thing to take out the “genie of hatred” from the bottle but not that easy to put it back.”
He further added, that you and RSS always promote the message of making India a “Vishwabandhu”, world brother to make it a “Vishwa guru”, a world leader, even our Foreign Minister is also promoting the same message throughout the world. He further raised the question, demanding the speech be given in India instead of abroad.
He remarked, “Here your speech ejects the ‘poison of hatred’. Going abroad, especially in Islamic countries, you advocate ‘world brotherhood’ but in India, you advocate ‘Hindutva’.
The Congress leader appealed to PM Modi to promote unity and harmony across India and remarked, “To spread the message of ‘Leave hatred, unite India’ of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to the people and spread the message of ‘Vasudeva Kutumbhakam’ to the people across the country.
