A touching phone conversation between Devendra Fadnavis, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and his mother, Sarita Fadnavis is going viral. She called to congratulate him. As per report at 12 pm Mr. Fadnavis is leading by a margin of more than 17,000 votes from Nagpur South West. “I will come in the evening. I will finish everything here and come by evening. I will let you know. Thank you, for giving me your blessings,” Mr. Fadnavis was heard saying.
In Maharashtra, the ruling BJP-led coalition is in a commanding lead and seems certain to hold onto power. They seem to emerge as the winner by leading with 221 seats. BJP is leading in 105 seats, followed by Shiv Sena which was ahead in 56 seats and NCP 54. Seeing the trends, Mahayuti seems to be in a winning situation.
