Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has sent legal notices to Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari and Social Media Head Amit Malviya for spreading lies about fake registration of his wife’s name in the Delhi’s voter’s list.

The BJP MP and Amit Malviya had alleged that the AAP leader Singh and his wife, Anita Singh had cast her vote in Delhi however as per the affidavits they claimed that his wife is a registered voter of Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. They stated it to be illegal and demanded the Election Commission to take action.

In retaliation, AAP MP Singh sent legal notice against the two BJP members to claim this without any credible source therefore the propagation of these claims via their social media account has caused severe harm to the reputation of Singh and his family.

Singh claimed that his wife got her name removed from the voter’s list of Sultanpur in January 2024 while he had gotten his name removed in 2013. He mentioned that only his parents are registered as a voters of Sultanpur but not him or his wife.

Singh said, “People of Bharatiya Jhootha Party will spread false news against my wife and me and would want us not to take action so this will not happen.” He added that he has given a chance to Manoj Tiwari and Amit Malviya to prove their lies in court.
