Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina had blasted out on the interim government of Bangladesh, led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, for increasing atrocities against Hindus and for detaining Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das. Hasina held Yunus accountable for all these horrible situations in the country.

She strongly condemned and protested these anarchist activities going on. She insisted on filtering the terrorists and taking proper actions against them. In a detailed statement, Hasina said, “A top leader of Sanatan religious community (Chinmoy Krishna Das) has been unjustly arrested, he must be released immediately.”

Hasina charged that the interim government where she said that the present government unlawfully taken power and had failed to uphold human rights. Hindus are minorities and are easily prone to be targeted directly. She added that in Chittagong, a temple has been set on fire. In the past, the Ahmadiyya community’s homes, churches, mosques, shrines, and monasteries were robbed, burned, and vandalized. It is important to guarantee religious freedom as well as the safety of individuals and their belongings in every community. These acts have created hatred and thus, outrage exists.

“Everything about the present power grabbers is failing. Bangladesh has failed to give life security and failed to regulate the cost of everyday essentials. “Strongly denounce these forms of torture, both direct and indirect, on ordinary people,” Hasina stated.
