A really shocking incident happened at Moga, Punjab when a Dubai returned groom for wedding found the venue nonexistent and bride named Manpreet Kaur was nowhere to be found.
A 24 year old man deepak Kumar had a virtual relationship with a woman named Manpreet Kaur. Deepak Kumar was a labour in Dubai and had been communicating with his bride Manpreet through Instagram for three years they shared countless conversations and pictures their family too had talked but they never had met in person the two of them decided to get married with both of their parents blessing virtually.
The wedding was planned to happen in moga Punjab on a venue named “Rose Garden palace” as brides family instructions but when the groom arrived with his family and 150 guest from their village at moga the venue was nowhere to be found as was the bride. Through a little investigation by the groom they discovered that there was no place like Rose Garden palace in Moga.
Deepak and his family tried to contact Manpreet several times but no one replied all of their phones were switched off and all of man brides account on Instagram were found deactivated.
Deepak confessed that he had spent months planning this day and had already made significant investments like booking taxis, catering arrangements, even a videographer for the ceremony and he even transferred rupees 50,000 to Manpreet Kaur earlier in course of the arrangements.
Deepak’s father said that everything including the venue, the guest list the caterer, the photograph everything was arranged through phone calls with Manpreet’s family who had lived in moga and were the ones to suggest all this and help them to plan the wedding smoothly.
Deepak after searching for his bride Manpreet Kaur for several hours finally gave up and filed a police complaint against Kaur and her family.
