An ambulance helicopter collided with a hospital in southwestern Turkey on Sunday. The helicopter bumped into the fourth storey of the hospital before falling to the ground.

The helicopter took off from Mugla Training and Research Centre en route to the city of Antalya. 4 people perished in the attack including two pilots, a doctor, and a medical worker.

Poor visibility due to fog is considered to be the reason behind the collision. Various video footage of a flight gliding in fog before the crash has also gone viral.

This comes days after two military airplanes collided mid-air during a training exercise on December 9 claiming the lives of six military personnel on board. The cause of this collision has not been revealed by the Defence Ministry.
